Wakehurst Place
The East Sussex Guild of Craftworkers has been established since 1931 and aims to encourage crafts in and around East Sussex, promoting standards of excellence in the crafts practiced by its members.
The Guild holds a number of exhibitions during the year at which Exhibiting Members display and sell their work. Its principal shows are its Summer Show at Batemans, and the Christmas Fair at Michelham Priory. On occasion the Guild organises additional shows at venues of suitable quality. In 2012 a Spring Show was held at Wakehurst Place. See here for details.
Our crafts include Glass, Painting, Jewellery, Ceramics, Wood carving and turning, Enamelling, Silverware, Silk Painting, Engraving, Wooden ship models, Toys, Leatherwork, Papercraft, Spinning and Weaving.
